I brought a group of students to Suenos de Salsa. I have gone to other studios before, but we never had such dynamic, effective instruction. The group had a wonderful time and were very happy with the experience. If you want lessons for yourself or your group, this is the place to go!

Michael was great with our group of four; attentive, light, focused, clear…and sexy (how you gonna have Bachata without sexy?) He took great care of us two ‘date night’ couples and launched us on a very fun night with bold new skills! Can’t wait to return for more and expand our routine.

I love taking lessons here. They have free (Donations welcome.) Socials on Wednesdays at 8:30 PM. Not sure when they will end the free Wednesday night socials.

Michael focuses on the basics of footwork and body movement in addition to teaching steps and patterns — he’s really helped me understand the mechanics and become a better dancer!

Classes are a ton of fun and you learn a lot! Signed up for intro to bachata – I’m far from a natural, but it’s very easy to learn here! Great people, great instructors and a great time.

I took a beginner salsa class through Groupon and it was amazing! I have done other beginner classes at another salsa studio and this is hands down the best. Michael and Adriana are gifted teachers. You learn the musicality of salsa before dancing- you understand the rhythm before learning steps. The classes are taught in a step-wise approach and you will not feel overwhelmed. They give you homework so you can come to class prepared and ready to dance. The classes here are taught “on 2” versus “on 1” and is taught in New York style which I tend to like better than some of the other styles. I’ve already signed up for more classes.

My partner is a native salsa dancer from Cali, Colombia and he purchased a beginner package for me at Sueños de Salsa earlier this year. I was recovering from a shoulder surgery and had limited range of motion with my right arm but Michael communicated with the rest of the class about my condition in a way that made me feel included and comfortable. I highly recommend taking lessons here if you are looking for a fun, supportive community and an excellent instructor.
